BlondorPlex: What Is It? Why Do You Need It?

Looking to go blonde but you don’t want to compromise the integrity and health of your client's hair? We get it. WHAT IS BLONDORPLEX?
Wella Professionals revolutionary BlondorPlex Multi Blonde Dust-Free Powder Lightener formula features a bond builder technology that provides up to 9 levels of lift and up to 97% less breakage. Perfect for on-scalp and off-scalp application, containing anti-yellow molecules to help reduce orange/yellow undertones during the lightening process.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The science behind BlondorPlex is one of a kind and simply put… the ultimate tool for your blonding services. During the lightening process, amino-acid bonds are broken down and damaged. Bond builders in Wella Professionals BlondorPlex help to reconstruct inner hair bonds, strengthen to the core and rebalance pH for a beautiful lift and healthy result.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
STEP 1
Customize your look with any on-scalp or foil application. Mix BlondorPlex + Welloxon Perfect Crème Developer in a 1:1.5 mixing ratio, up to a 1:2 mixing ratio. Choose between: 3% (10 volume), 6% (20 volume), 9% (30 volume) or 12% (40 volume) developer. Remember… “the power is in the powder”. The developer will help determine the speed of the lift and the powder will determine the strength. Develop up to 50 minutes.
STEP 2
After the desired lift is achieved, rinse thoroughly and apply WellaPlex No. 2. Bond Stabilizer. Get ready…this is when the magic happens. Develop for 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style hair as usual. Wellaplex No. 2 is recommended to be used with all lightening services and perfect for all hair types.
STEP 3
Keep hair strong, smooth and soft until the next in-salon service with: WellaPlex No. 3 Hair Stabilizer, the perfect retail item for your salon guest. HOW-TO USE: Shampoo hair with your favorite Wella Professionals shampoo, towel dry, and apply No.3 Hair Stabilizer from roots to ends. Leave in for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Style hair as usual. Use once a week.

Once desired lightening is achieved, customize the look with four shades, plus one ultra cool booster for balanced blonde results.

/81 Pale Silver: Ideal to neutralize orange or achieve icy cool tones on lighter levels.

HOW TO MIX
EXPRESS TONING: For quick and reliable, perfectly blended blonde results. Mix one part BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners with two parts Wella Professionals Welloxon Perfect Pastel Developer 1.9% (6 volume). (1:2)
EXPRESS TONING + BASE BREAKING: For more intense toning and a gentle lift to the natural base. Lighten and brighten the look, while blending demarcation lines and deliver premium blonde results. Mix one part BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners with two parts Welloxon Professionals Welloxon Perfect Creme Developer 3% (10 volume). (1:2)
APPLICATION TIPS:
Begin application of Wella Professionals BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners, at the back of the head. Continue application to the mid sections, finishing at the front hairline. Develop for five minutes. For quick results, apply BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners at the basin to pre-shampooed hair.
SOFTER RESULTS: Mix BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners in a 1:3 mixing ratio with Wella Professionals Welloxon Perfect Pastel Developer 1.9% (6 volume). Develop for five minutes.
APPLICATION: Choose your application method utilizing a bowl and brush or a color applicator bottle. For a more saturated finish, apply with a bowl and brush.
PROCESSING TIME: Extend development time for increased neutralization and tonal saturation.
ULTRA COOL BOOSTER: Customize any formula with Wella Professionals BlondorPlex Permanent Cream Toners /86 Ultra Cool Booster. Add 1g-5g to 30g of a core shade for increased neutralization and tonal finish. (Watch out! /86 Ultra Cool Booster is intensely cool if used alone.)
