However, Color Touch slightly alters the hairs’ natural characteristics through a mild lift even when used with lower developer. Color Touch is also loved because it will also cover a large percentage of grey when used with higher developers. Service Difference
TONING: Color Touch is ideal for TRANSFORMATIONAL TONING with its Gentle ammonia free formula. Color Touch may lift and shift natural hair, especially finer textures.
Development time: 20 Mins.
GLAZING: SHINEFINITY Glazing is a Zero lift, zero damage service with shimmering results. You can create Long-lasting color results and you have more flexibility in service time and more versatility in your result based on your processing time.
Development time: 5/10 Mins on average **20 Mins when needed.
Gray Blending
COLOR TOUCH provides up to 50% gray coverage when used with a higher emulsion.
SHINEFINITY will only provide an ultra-natural blend for first signs of gray.
Low Lighting
COLOR TOUCH has a very consistent consistency because it can only be used with one type of developer (Color Touch Emulsions). Its also ideal if you are looking for up to 50% gray coverage. SHINEFINITY has two unique activators that it can be mixed with. If you are looking to lowlight in foils you should use the Bowl and brush developer which will create a thicker consistency for more control with your lowlights.
Color Balancing
Wella defines Color Balancing as the process of using permanent color Such as Koleston Perfect or Illumina color on the client’s regrowth or gray roots, but refreshing the mid lengths and ends with demi color to prevent additional damage. With COLOR TOUCH you can 100% match your mid and end tones with the exact color you are using in Koleston perfect ideal for a more classic look. With Color Touch you can also expect to revive the full coverage and vibrant pigment look you get with Perminate color. With SHINEFINITY you can create more customizable translucent tones and have more flexibility with your development time.
Longevity
COLOR TOUCH Lasts up to 24 washes and which gradually fades over time. There is a very minimal appearance to the regrowth. SHINEFINITY is long lasting, and provides up to 6 weeks of vibrant color.
