Boston-based Field Signature Artist and blonding expert Jennifer Ng recently shared her meticulous blonding process for taking a client with a natural level 3 and pre-existing color on the ends to a healthy icy platinum blonde. Her secret to bringing this gorgeous color to life started with a thorough consultation. Jennifer set the expectations with her client right off the bat when she told her client that a healthy color result would only be achievable after two separate color sessions. Jennifer’s client started with a natural level 3 with warm color-treated ends. Her client was hopeful to experience platinum blonde within one visit. Through a detailed consultation, Jennifer explained the importance of maintaining the integrity of her hair. She explained to her client that the desired result icy blonde could only be reached after two sessions.
First Color Session:
